We have added exciting new features to simplex Media Server.

Archive Storage – Store Instead of Delete – Now Available in SMS

The popular, cost-optimized Archive Storage is now available in simplex Media Server. This offers an innovative solution for storage and deletion issues:

  • Cost optimization: Instead of occupying expensive storage or deleting data, it is archived cost-effectively. This preserves important data without incurring unnecessary costs.
  • Eliminate deletion processes: Data will not be deleted, just archived and deactivated. Archived data can be re-activated at any time.

Roles and Author Management in Your Own Active Directory

Roles and author assignments for SAML users can now be managed through your own Active Directory. This increases security and flexibility of access control for our enterprise customers.

Simplification of Project Search

Search filters are now saved and restored. This simplifies switching between different screens when searching for projects and videos.

Prebuffering

Optimized loading of on-demand videos with configurable pre-buffering increases the efficiency and loading time of web pages.
